Corporate Wellness

Strength in Motion is also proud to offer a corporate wellness program with services designed to improve workplace productivity along with customer and employee satisfaction. We offer great flexibility in the design of your treatment package so that it will conform with the setup of your workplace.

Massage Therapy

Our Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) provide hands on treatment to address muscle and joint stiffness/pain. Massage Therapy will help to prevent repetitive stress injuries and poor posture, especially in a workplace where the majority of time is spent in a sitting positon. In addition, the stress relief provided by a massage therapy session wil help to boost workplace productivity and employee satisfaction.

We offer both table and chair massages according to your preferences and the space available in your workplace. Appointment lengths for each can vary, however a typical table massage will last between 30-60 minutes while a chair massage will be between 15-30 minutes.

Physiotherapy

Our Physiotherapist will offer an in-depth assessment of your injury, whether work-related or otherwise. Assessment will involve a detailed physical examination of the injury along with identifying all contributing factors to the injury. The physiotherapist will make instant workplace recommendations based on these factors to eliminate any postures or learned compensations at work that are contributing to your injury.

Recommendations on follow-up treatments will be addressed by the physiotherapist, along with advice on a typical course of treatment and the options that are available to you.

Ergonomic Assessments

We offer assessments of workstations to provide recommendations on ways in which they can be adjusted to promote better posture and less repetitive strain on the body while at work. The assessment will involve observation of the employee at work followed by analysis of ways in which workstation ergonomics may be improved. This will include workstation adjustments, suggestions on postural supports, and education on the ideal working posture.
